I have a cal spa hot tub that is approximately 10 years old and it's been running great for the 7 years I've owned it. Recently though it started running pump 1 which is a 2 speed pump constantly at the low speed.
Historically it would run the pump periodically I assume to check the temperature and it would run during a scheduled filtration cycle. I checked the filtration cycle and it's set to run for 15 minutes at midnight so I don't think it should be running on a filter cycle non-stop. It does also show the correct temperature and it is not running the heater so I don't think it's running the pump in order to heat the spa. I tried putting the spa in rest mode rather than ready but it still keeps running.
Are there other things I should look at? There aren't any error codes showing, everything looks normal on the control panel. I should also note that if I push the jet 1 button I am able to get it to turn off but within 10 minutes it turns on again and never shuts back off.
