Cal Hypo induced cloudy water

Switched from liquid CL to Cal Hypo 73% and water has become somewhat cloudy (white).
11kgal plaster. Cartridge filter.

TA 120
CYA 60
CaHardness 280
Borate 50

Have initiated shock CL 26
plan to continue SLAM

Will liquid CL slam clear up water?
Do I need to lay off the Cal Hypo forever? (have 50 lbs !!)
Any advice/comments appreciated.

Cloudiness is from scaling that is typical with cal hypo because it can strongly raise pH. Also your TA is too high.

You need to lower TA and pH to use cal-hypo and I would suggest pre-dilution in a 5 gallon bucket and then broadcasting it around the pool perimeter or pouring in front of a fast moving return.

It is a common problem with cal hypo to have water cloudiness for 24 hours after application.

Check your fill water ch, if it's low enough some cal hypo is fine but you are adding ch every time and will have to deal with that sometime

Do you think TA 120 is too high even if I stick with liquid CL exclusively?

Ta just deals with your pH, what does your pH do?
