I read that using cal hypo raises ph in addition to fc and ch. Pool math calculator doesn’t seem to show the ph effects when I punch in the numbers. Is there a reason for that?
The effect to pH is small and once the cycle is complete is nearly a neutral effect. The issue is when it is added, it does raise pH (temporarily) and may cloud the pool water. So understanding that effect and being sure your pH is in target range will minimize the clouding of the water.
