Buzzing in the house? Heater capacitor?

We heard a buzzing in the house near the electric input from the pool. It stops when pool heater is off. Another post on this forum suggests that it’s the heater capacitor. But what confuses me is that the fan still spins. I just ran the heater and put my hand over the jet and it’s not hot so I think I found the problem.

Is this a pool heater capacitor issue?

Sorry I missed this before now, but hopefully you're going to get it sorted out.

Most buzzing or humming from electrical equipment that still operates is usually from a transformer. Most of the time it's a mounting screw that's came loose, but it can also be from loose windings or armature.

Capacitors can cause a buzzing sound, but once they start buzzing they usually don't last long.
