Buy bleach, buy bleach... and buy more bleach

I've had this pool maintained for months. So far so good.
However I'd like to ... limit my visit to Home Depot to buy liquid chlorine.
Home Depot is 15 minutes drive.
I could buy bulk but they may expire or degrade.
I also don't want them to ship because 10 boxes ($50ish) cost $78 more to ship lol.

Any better way?
If I have to go to Home Depot every month then I have to.

Notes:
I don't want to use trichlor or dichlor since they add CYA.

Thanks.

L,

Well... you could replace the "no SWG" in your signature with a "SWG".... :p

Having a saltwater pool is the simplest way to have eliminate having to manually dump in Liquid Chlorine.

Many of our members have saltwater pool and really like them, including me...

Thanks,

Jim R.

I can't imagine not having a SWG or even worse, not having a speedstir.

your local grocery store, or dollar store should have 8.25% bleach for you to use.

Or you can convert a couple of neighbours to our methods, then buy in bulk, and split the bulk bleach between you, and them.

I buy 55 gallons at a time, and have my storage barrel buried beside the pool pad to help keep it cooler, and protected from the sun. I have told the wife to let me know when she needs bleach for cleaning around the house, and I supply a neighbour with bleach from it.

My Stenner pump is plumbed into it, and gets what it needs on its own. :)
