Recognizing that all towns have different pool build permit requirements- anyone from the Atlanta suburbs have experience with what municipalities generally want to see in the build plan? I submitted a site plan (stamped by the health depaetment for septic) and all of the materials the pool builder provided as part of the build plan. The reviewer told me today that the build plan was missing allot and was not even close to what was needed and that he has a checklist (which is not published). Appreciate any advice. The municipality is Milton. Thank you.

The builder should provide all documents required by the town for permitting if obtaining the permit is within his scope of work.
Thank you. Yes, the builder works in my municipality and surrounding ones with tougher regulations. They said they do not submit the permit applications because they are too busy working on the pool build but it does not make sense that all of their customers would get their own permits.

Okay so even if they don't submit the for the permit they SHOULD know how to fill out what to get the permit...............just saying....
Thank you. I agree- they will not be able to build the pool/get paid if we cannot secure the permit. This is our first pool build so wanted to be sure we were not missing something.
