Hoping someone can help identify these bugs I just started seeing again. They were in our pool towards end of summer and regular brushing/elevated chlorine seemed to get rid of them near the end of the season.
In my eyes they don’t match the expected appearance of back swimmers or waterboatmen, but I don’t have enough experience to be confident. Last year there were tons of tiny ones that would get caught up while skimming the water, and a handful of big ones. Haven’t seen them in 5 months until this morning and pulled 3 big ones out, only a handful of small ones in the net.

Water temp is 50 degrees, last week had a number of high-wind rainy storms, not sure if that could have pushed them from somewhere else into our pool, or if this is an early sign of an underlying pool/pest problem.
