Budget friendly Hayward vsp and heat pump control

I got set over here by the garage journal forum. Have a Hayward VFD pump and heat pump I’m looking to control remotely. The Omni logic is a bit out of my budget.

It’s a pretty basic setup. There are no control valves, the pump is piped to always run through the heater. Ideally I’d like to be able to remotely control the set point on the heater and the run times of the pump. Are there any diy or budget friendly ways to communicate with the pump and heater?

Welcome to TFP.

I think the Hayward OmniHub is the least cost Hayward automation system...

Let's see if other have any DIY automation solutions for you.
