Hi Everyone. I opened my pool in the first week of May and with your assistance I got my pool crystal clear and everything seems to be in order. My test results today are as follows:
FC 4
CC <.5
Alk 80
PH 7.2
Calcium 160
CYA 30
The first week of May I put gallons of easy pour Clorox into the pool. I since discovered that I should have used just the regular Clorox without any additives. Starting in the second week of May to the present, I have been using Home Depot 10% liquid chlorine. I have not added any algicide since the first 3-4 days of May.
When jumping into the water I have noticed more bubbles than there should be in the pool. Not a lot of bubbles but I am looking for perfection.
1) How long before the Clorox completely burns off?
2) Does the lower PH have anything to do with it? I am going to try and bring the PH up to 7.4 later tonight.
Thank you for your help.
