Bubbles + foam return jet

Seeing lot of bubble and foam forming near far vari flow jets. I am also sensing water pressure. Attaching the short link below. Is this normal?

Have you put anything new in the pool recently? How about any liquid bleach, clarifiers?

I had someone pressure wash the interlock and then added some polymeric sand. Some of it did make it inside the pool. I have vacuumed it all out. I also installed new Hayward heater.

By increased water pressure, I mean I am seeing strong(er) flow of water through those two var flow return jets. Also the PSI reads 20 but if my memory serves me right it had been hovering around 15 previously. I have backwashed couple times already.

Last thing, I had replaced the var Flo return jets last week.

Low CH can cause foaming. Can you post a full set of test results, including CH.

It may also have been something in the new sand. If so, it will eventually go away.

For the filter, note the clean pressure after backwashing. Backwash when pressure increases 25%.

Rising filter pressures could mean algae. Complete an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test if you suspect something's brewing.

BTW, I missed the addition of the new heater. Make sure CH levels are within Hayward's recommendation.
