Brushing and vaccuming

Hi everyone,

I want to vaccum my pool but I brushed it this morning. It’s been a while I don’t vaccum. And no I don’t have a robot yet, I can’t afford it right now. So is it fine to vaccum the same day I brush?

I see less things on the floor now obviously.

If you don't see a big need to vacuum, don't.

If you swim frequently, you're kicking up debris and dust to the filter constantly. Same with brushing; you could likely avoid vacuuming completely until you definitely know you need to...

Thank you, yes. We have been swimming frequently these days and I brush very often just because honestly it is less hassle than vaccuming. I put off vaccuming till the last minute. Often do it every 2 weeks.

I'd skip a vacuuming session and see if you can tell a difference after a further 2 weeks.

Yes. Is just that I see a bit of dust on the floor often. I brush it and it goes away and comes back after 2 days or so. That’s why I wanted to vaccum.

I don’t think it’s algae. Or at least all my FC. Levels seem fine. I am not losing chlorine.
