Yup. Time for a new brush. Recommend the Wall Whale ... although the bristles will eventually fall out of it as well. I then moved the tail onto a new mixed (stainless / nylon) brush.
You can prolong the life of your brushes by keeping them out of direct sunlight. I always store them in the shade. My only problem now is that my bristles are one third the length of a new brush.
