For example, suspect that with a new pump lid (cheap) you may find that then your pump actually works one and perhaps even your returns are okay.
You might also find that with a new multiport key/handle/spider gasket (again, cheap) the system also may operate properly. In and of themselves, those are comparatively small things but they dramatically affect operation of the system.
But again, its your priority and preference so just let us know. Those two items in particular would be way way cheaper than filling it in. Not sure if I can say the same about plaster...
