this is for a friend. He has a spa in vegas and the jet pump is like this now:
this pump only operates the jets and gets turn on by a timer. There is a separate pump for recirculating the water.
I would like to fix it for him if possible.
Is that a standard union I can get from home depot and the like?
And any idea on why it broke? Maybe the pump is not installed properly and put the pipes under stress? That pump was installed 6 months ago and gets used almost every day for about 20-30 minutes at least.
