Hey guys,

My dad busted a pin on the IntelliFlo VS pump that connects to the solar panel. Any idea where we could purchase this cable? Or should we try to re-terminate the pin, even though I have no idea where to procure the pins themselves? dad.jpg

I am confused.

Did a pin break off from the male socket on the pump?

Or did a wire pull out from a female pin in the connector?

I am guessing a pin broke on the pump connector. Are there any markings or numbers on the pump connector? I have had a lot of luck finding terminals from suppliers like Mouser or Digikey when I can determine the manufacturer.

You would think so. This member had pins break off on the pump male connector and could not source the connector so he hard wired a connection...

You can bet your sweet bippie that for $600 I'd be building my own cable and connector! Finding alternative connectors is not difficult. The board side connector is there, just need to splice into those wires.

Since it's just the green/yellow wires that are used, it wouldn't be that difficult. Although I tend to hunt out the 'not difficult' projects!

Yeah, lol I sell connectors and cables for a living, but Pentair used a custom shop and I can't tell the part number for the pins/housing. Might have to get him a sample of one of my companies sealed connector. I was just seeing if any one had a quick source of the existing solution.

Thanks guys
