Broken connector - can this be fixed?

The outbound connector is cracked and there is a slight leak. We called a company to come out to repair it and they said they do not make parts for that filter anymore.
They want to charge $800 for a new filter.

The filter works fine, just the black connector is cracked. Can this be fixed? If so, where can I get the part?

Welcome to the forum!
Call Inyopools. See if they can find the part. You will need full information on the filter, brand, size, etc. Plus they may want you to email the pictures.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry and consider reviewing the entire Pool School eBook.

J,

If this were my pool, I would just fill the crack with epoxy.. I suspect it will last for years.

Keep in mind that you are just holding two pieces of plastic together.. If this were a crack in the tank itself, than a new filter would be mandatory...

Thanks,

Jim R.
