Broke my in-floor valve lid...

You have a 1 HP motor with a Service Factor of 1.85 giving you an effective total HP of 1.85 (HP x SF = Total HP).

After your testing, we now know the "RETURNS" line is supplying the infloor system.

What we don't know is what the original pump motor was spec'd at - or what impeller is presently being used. If possible, call A&A and see if they have any info on your install. They may need original owners name and/or poolbuilders name - but even if you don't have that, it can't hurt to ask them. Maybe they can also give you some additional troubleshooting tips and/or provide you with some options.

You can try carefully stepping on one of the pop-ups and observe if the other pop-ups on that zone fully extend. It won't fix your issue, but may provide you with additional info to pass along to us and to A&A.

It may also be beneficial to separate the motor from the pump (shut off the electric at the breaker first) and inspect the impeller (get the model number of it too) for debris, damage, etc. See if the diffuser and diffuser ring are in good condition.
