Can anyone recommend a brass manual air relief valve for a Pentair CCP cartridge filter? My filter sits in the AZ sun and the plastic ones just don't last.
Are you on a view fence lot?
Lots of options on how to cover it and disguise it so it looks pretty. Much better than looking directly at the equipment itself.
As long as you don't drop the top, forever. I have serviced older pool filters that originally came with brass air relief fittings like that. Occasionally you will have to replace the gauge, they can go bad, but when can't be guessed. The air relief valve may start to leak in many years but that's an easy and inexpensive replacement. A brass radiator drain from an auto-parts store for about $2.00.
I have one on my Pentair filter. Been there for 5 years or more with zero issues. Bought it after I broke the OEM plastic one. Worth the cost.
