Soooooo since my old pool was old and NASTY and I had some extra money I just decided to get a new pool but since I've never done that before I was wondering do you have to SLAM a brand new pool or what all do you need to do.

As soon as you fill a pool, it is just like a big bathtub and we don't SLAM our bathtubs 
Fill 'er up. Start dissolving some CYA and put in some chlorine.
Then run a test on everything else.

What do you mean start dissolving some CYA? Should I test the CYA first? And I use liquid bleach, so how much of that should I put in right off or should I test it first too? Thanks!
