Brand new Circupool sj-45 shuts off after salt and cell lights turn on red

on the model I have, there’s a warning about making sure theres enough straight pipe (at least 12”) before the cell to avoid having turbulence issues. How does this model get around that since it’s got the intake and outlet at 90 degree angles? I assume they would have figured that out.
I know they sell a vertical style mounting kit for the RJ60 that I use and I wonder if that would fit better in the space you have.

Note to self, do NOT glue directly to any piece I can’t replace in a hurry😡
I don’t think there is any way to get this flow switch out and then re-install it. B6E7813A-E418-4D67-88A5-CC5917D69BA4.jpeg

Option 2: This will slip inside of 1.5" pipe...Also comes in 2"

I don't see any reason why that flow switch wouldn't work perfectly in that location. I do wonder one thing though, and it's probably the simplest - do you have enough flow? Maybe put the filter in bypass and see if that helps?
I would definitely put the filter on bypass to eliminate as many variables as possible. One thing the support guy told me to check was the oring at my pump and make sure no air was coming in.

I did place the pump on recirculate, no go. How would I know if air was getting in? I don’t see bubbles in the cell, how else would I know? It is a new pump, and filter

I'd pull the skimmer lid at the pump, make sure the o-ring looks good and lube it up before reinstalling. Have you ran this in recirculate since you've made your most recent changes? I don't know if you have a discharge position on your filter, but I'd definitely check flow. Perhaps you have a blockage at the pump?

with the salt cell completely full and no bubbles there is plenty of flow... There would be a bubble at the front of the cell if it were not enough flow... I get a bubble at 800 rpm but my SWG is not running then..

How did your husband remove the glued pipe? Did he heat it up and use a screwdriver and needle nose pliers? I've done that once before when I forgot to put my union collar on before gluing the piece at the end.:brickwall:
Yes,.. that’s what he did!

So,.. I re-plumbed again,.. moved the flow switch to the vertical position as far away from the 90 degree angle as I could, checked all my o rings, and still doesn’t work. All the lights flash green, then go off and the flow and the temperature light turn red. It never generates😩😡😡😢EA3D8DD7-E866-4F7F-AB23-CCC062C08EF1.jpegCFCEB6ED-3FF5-424D-B255-E40D22A576B9.jpegCFCEB6ED-3FF5-424D-B255-E40D22A576B9.jpegB7F5CDD4-766F-4FBA-BCF6-9BBA7220393A.jpegC94B5F66-84CA-428E-B96D-53F4CA54880E.jpeg

Something is wrong with that system.. How you got 2 complete systems and they are bad I have no idea... Have they tested the old system you sent back? I wish I could test it here...

The last email said they would test this system when I sent it back to see if they could duplicate the problem. I need a SWG now! I can’t believe I have received 2 complete bad systems, but I don’t know what else to try.

Back in Post #43 you said:
Same results, it works for about one minute, the flow light stays green, the generator light goes off, the cell light turns red and the salt light turns red.
And now in Post #133 you say:
All the lights flash green, then go off and the flow and the temperature light turn red. It never generates
So your plumbing changes have made a difference in the system operating symptoms. Have Cirupool sent you a complete new flow switch assembly? This assemble does include the temperature sensor and I don't see anywhere in this thread that you have replaced it. I think there something going in the rectangle box with the four screws, maybe a bad temp sensor or loose wire connections.
Again, I don't think that the flow switch assembly should be mounted on the vertical pipe section of the cell output side, although I'll admit that i would expect the flow light to be green when the pump is not running.
