Borax - Preferred method

I usually have a fountain but have not put one together yet to help raise pH... What is the preferred method for adding borax? Anything in particular?

Borax is best added by pre-dissolving it in a bucket of water and then pouring that slowly in front of a return.

How low is the pH and how high is the TA? A couple kids having a splash fight might be enough aeration that you won't need to add anything.

pH is at 7.0 and TA is at 70

LOL...this is pretty well a soak tub for the wife and I....no kids that play like that any more LOL
