The blackness that formed when the pH was lowered was silver. I hate metals in pools. I hate Nature 2s.
The heater, if it isn't leaking already, will experience a shorter life span. When it does spring a leak, replace it. In the long run, it will be less expensive than the repair cost cycles that will surely come.
Follow the previously given advice. DON"T dump more than 18" at a time before refilling or the liner will shrink.
