My TA is at 110. It started out last year well over 200. The PH is moving very slow now so it’s taking forever to get it lower. Do I dare add the borates at this level? If I do the borax/muriatic method will that muriatic lower the TA at the same time or will the borax use it all up? We are having a lot of issues with bugs and would like to get them in to help keep them away along with all the other benefits.

My concern is the guide says I want this TA closer to 60 before adding it. With it at 110 will it cause any issues?
