I've got a Pentair Intelliflow and Intelliconnect system, with a Pentair Racer pressure side vacuum with a booster pump. If the vacuum is not connected and in the pool and the booster pump is turned on, the pump makes all kind of racket.
Is this normal or does anybody else have this issue?

So right now the booster pump is on through the freeze protection program and I can't figure out how to shut it off? It doesn't look like I can do it in the app. Any guidance there would be appreciated it.

OK I got it. In the Intelliconnect box, I turned off the relay. I have only 2 relays in the box. 1 for booster and 1 for lights. I was thinking the 1 relay would be connected to both the pool pump and booster pump. Thanks wireform...I learned something today.

Not sure why you are removing the cleaner from the pool. Using a breaker as an "on/off" switch is never a good idea. Yes, a booster pump is a high pressure and will make a lot of noise if there is no restriction caused by the cleaner itself. They all do, regardless of brand.
