Have a Pentair LA01N booster pump, installed around 2016. Was running fine when we put the pool to bed last September, just opened pool, pool cleaner won’t run. Have moderate flow through the cleaner due to the circulation pump, but no boost. Can hear booster pump running, but quiet, opened impeller housing everything looks clean, bearings feel free, passages in impeller appear clear, impeller spins when motor powered. Suspect motor is running slow, any suggestions?

Opened pool yesterday, first issue is booster pump runs, but no pressure boost. Water comes out of cleaner port when circulation pump is running, but no increase due to booster pump being on. Opened pump, impeller looks good, spins when powered, passage ways in impeller clear, however pump is very quiet when running, like it’s not at full speed.
Added chlorine to pool to start killing off tadpoles and algae and left circulation pump running over night.
Come out this AM, pump (Pentair 342001 SuperFlo VS) is off, display is blank. Open cover, check voltage between L1 & L2 pins, get 240 VAC. Has pump failed, anything else I should check? Both pumps new within last 3 years, is this how long they usually last? Left all breakers open over winter so they wouldn’t see any electrical surges.

Wired for 120V, setup ran fine last year. Controlled by flipping a breaker, turned on and off several times. Water flows through the pump normally when circulation pump is on, no increase in pressure from cleaner port when booster turned on, no flow from cleaner port when booster only is run. Opened pump, it’s the cleanest piece of non-working hardware I think I have seen.

Did you turn pump breaker off, wait 5 minutes, and turn pump breaker on?

Yes, several times. Note that circulation pump is wired for 240V, booster wired for 120V. Clock stopped holding time during power outages shortly after warranty expired. Not impressed with Pentair at this point.
