Purchased a blue torrent typhoon 1.5 hp variable speed pump looks just like the Hayward super pump but it’s a variable speed but anyways I was in the settings trying to figure out how to set the schedule and enabled thermal mode and now each time I push the start/stop button I can’t go into the settings to disable it it just goes to thermal mode if anyone has had any experience on getting it out of thermal mode it would be greatly appreciated

You may have tried but search YouTube. I had trouble figuring out an option on my pump but found a video that helped.
Sorry about getting back to you all between the pump going haywire I had to change the liner in my pool as well, pool parts to go was very quick about sending a new pump as they suspected the board may have been bad is why it wouldn’t let me go to the menu to disable thermal mode
