Ok, so there was a green film on the bottom of our AG pool this year. We decided to use algaecide to try to get rid of it but it only made it worse. We put the algaecide in yesterday and it turned extremely blue, now today it's turning extremely green! Help!! What can we do? When should we shock it? How much? And any suggestions on how to get and keep the green film off of the bottom would be helpful. Thank you in advance!

What algaecides have you added? What are the ingredients in them?
Algaecides do not get rid of algae. It takes chlorine and the SLAM Process to clear algae.
What test kit do you have? How do you maintain your water chemistry?
