Looking at the calculations of Pool Math ...
I said my FC level was 10 and the target FC level was 20. It recommends using 2.8 jugs by volume. My pool is around 10,000 gallons.
How much LC would I need and how often do I add it?
Oh nevermind, I see it in the corner. That is cal-hypo and could certainly be a portion of the cloudiness. That is also what is contributing to your CH being so high.

Just add the number of OZ that PoolMath calculates for you to go from 10 to 20ppm. Make sure your pool volume is set at the top and the strength of your bleach is set correctly.
I've not used any in the last two weeks. After reading through some of the posts I learned that the ingredients in them aren't the best. And that using LC is the best option. This is my 5th summer with a pool. I've learned so much from this site.

I just updated the pool math with the correct percentages of chlorine. It says 1.8 jugs. Does that mean just two jugs, test to check FC is at 20? Then, go from there?
That says 10% in the picture. Use that number.
What you have an bleach is the same thing, just different strengths.
And given all the additives that are being put in the laundry bleach, what you have might be "safer" as it is just plain old bleach.
That works fine. Look at the ingredients that are shown in the lower left of your picture. Sodium Hypochlorite -- 10%. Use 10% as the Bleach Chlorine % in Pool Math.
No noticeable difference in my pool. I am checking it and adding LC every 2-3 hours. Hopefully, it will be clear soon. I've had it open a month and not even been able to use it.
