I have this blue green film on my filter… it’s only been up 6 days. The water is clear and I’ve got it tested twice at the pool store.. levels are ok. Is this algae? I’ve seen some stuff about metal imbalance? I put algaecide in it like day 2.. I’m wondering if I put too much? Or if it is algae? If so what do I need to do? I am in the panhandle of Florida, the guy at the pool store said it was normal and to just clean and replace often

The TFP methodology starts with testing your own water and do not trust pool store test results. Also, do not add magic potions that pool store sells such algaecide. You can have clear water and still have the start of an algae breakout.
It does appear to be algae but the best way to tell is to do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test.
However this requires you to test in the evening after dark and before sunrise on your pool which is why we like to have members use their own test kit. Test Kits Compared

looks like some kind of chemical goo to me. read pool school, get a good test kit, ignore pool store "expertise"
small pools with tiny toy pumps and filters can work but you need to understand and maintain water chemistry. and your pool store guy is actually right about needing to clean those tiny filters a lot, but don't listen to anything else - especially about magic potions.

Be aware that there are larger filters on above ground spas, that hold about 300 - 500 gallons, than the one that came with your pool. It would be good to get a few extra cartridges if you stick with that tiny filter system.
