Hello. My chemicals are all off. I have a pool guy cleaner. I notice a calcium build up on spa about two months ago. I finally ask my pool guy what is going on with that? He tells me it's calcium build up from adding a lot of new city water through summer due to evaporation. I test water with a strip. My hardness is highest color on strip. My chlorine we always keep high. Ph and alkalinity lowest color, way down. Pool guy tells me put 10 lbs baking soda. didn't work. then he puts bottle of floculant. This created all the particles at bottom of pool to turn blue. I don't have a back wash system and I am having to clean my filters every hour. Still working on it. Can someone tell me why it made all the particles turn to like blue algae???

The blue is copper. Do you have a heater?

If they have a spa, they probably have a heater.
