Bleach is in very short supply in our area (KY); any suggestions on which chemicals to use instead??????????

Take a look at this page as there maybe a store listed. If not, look at pool stores or the pool section of big box stores. Many many of them have liquid “shock” in stock which is the same thing as bleach....only stronger.
