Bleach from store...I’m newbie

Yup, generally looks good. What brand is it? Avoid all Clorox and brands that add polymer "Cloramax Technology" type statements. No scents, no thickeners, no fancy extras.

Publix sells plain bleach at the very bottom of the shelf I noticed.

Walmart sells 10% Liquid Chlorine by Pool Essentials in the pool aisle.

It’s called shock but is that just the marketing because it’s 12.5%? Basically this is just a higher power version of the generic bleach I bought at the grocery and I can ignore the words shock?

Yes exactly. Sodium hypochlorite with nothing else. That “shock” is exactly what u want
