I’ve been eyeballing the BlackStone for a little bit now, and would like to here from some of you guys/gals that have one.

1. How do you like it? Are you pleased with the cooking results?
2. How easy is it to keep clean? Do you “burn off” the top like you do the grates on a grill?
3. Does the top keep even heat across the entire surface, or are there hot spots?
And,
4. How is the propane consumption when using it? More, less, or the same as a regular grill?

Thanks for your feedback, and feel free to add any other likes/dislikes you may have.

That is what they call a 'grill' in Australia! I used one at an apartment we were staying in earlier this year. Kind of like using a skillet.

Does not impart the same effect the BBQ grill we think of. But it was good. Can't answer most of your questions as, well, I let the service folks clean it and maintain it!

I looked at both BlackStone and CampChef - from what I can tell, Camp Chef would be a better choice. I'm still deciding if it makes sense for me.

Blackstone has a much better design. CampChef is using the grease trap in front. Blackstone used to use that and it was horrible. They have now moved it in back and works so much better. Also they have added several new features.
