We need replastering and every pool company I've talked to wants to do an acid wash and fill the pool immediately. Has anyone used a pool company or replasterer in Houston that does a bi-carb startup, or at least is familiar with that process? Thanks.

If you're looking at PebbleTec finishes, I'd recommend Modern Method Gunite. They do excellent work and most of the top-tier builders use them.

Agreed. They did great work with my new pool

Yes, a Bicarb startup is best. Acid starts are not good in the long term.
Question: What type of plaster finish will it be?
Please determine and provide the fill water readings for pH, alkalinity, and calcium levels.
