We will be out of town for 5 days with nobody able to tend to the pool.
I'm trying to bring my CYA up slowly after a refill so it's on the low end (~25-30) of ideal, and the pool gets direct sunlight for the majority of the day, so I'm having a heck of a time keeping enough chlorine in the pool. I'd rather not use pucks anymore, but considering my CYA is already low and we have nobody able to add bleach to the water while we're out of town, would using those for a few days be my best bet? I want to keep at least some CH in the water, and I figure they can't do too much harm in such a short period.
If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks!
