Hello. I'm in the process of installing my first steel kit and am having issues with wash out.
The base is sand and with the amount of rain we've been getting there are a few spots where the sand underneath the walls has washed out.
The kit has concrete poured all around it to lock in it in place however, a steady stream has found its way around the concrete flushing sand into the deep end which is not poured yet.
I've fulled the voids back with sand but am wondering if this is a sufficient "repair". My concern is theses sections have concrete that is not sitting on a solid base.
Is the sand sufficient or should I pack some concrete into there before pouring the floor?
This Pic here shows after refilling the void with sand, you can see it's quite packed in there which is where my concern is.
Thanks.
