Best way to clean an empty pool

We are redoing the pool deck and so the contractors have emptied the pool. I had a few rust stains that I was told to use a diluted muriatic acid mixture to clean up. That worked but now those areas look better than the rest of the surface and I’m now realizing that I prob have a bit of scale built up that I’d like to clean while the pool is empty.

What is the best recommendation for cleaning the pool now? It’s a marcite surface. Prob about 5-6 years old.

Get a respirator type mask, get long rubber gloves, follow the principles of this (and other) videos. Start with a mild dilution of acid. NEVER pressure wash the pool.
