Looking for a cleaner for my 20x40 IG liner pool. I have read good things about the discovery but at 700 is it worth it?

Any issues with vinyl liner? I have heard some cleaners damage the liners...

You might call Dolphin and ask which models are better suited for vinyl. Also, there are special foam rollers that can be put in place of the bristle style rollers which supposedly cleans the smoother vinyl surface better.
It's the tracks that do the damage. Apparently when there are sharp/pointed things already pressing the liner from behind, or possibly the corners of vinyl covered steps or ledges. The latter of these I'm thinking would be pretty unusual though.
