Best pool maintenance kit

I'm new to AG pools and I need a pool maintenance kit, including vacuum, skimmer and pole. I'm surprised to find so little info anywhere on recommendations. I have a 12x24 Intex pool, and I would like to get a kit that attaches easily to my equipment without tools. The Intex kit seems to have a small vacuum head that falls off easily and a skimmer with too-large holes. Any recommendations?

Other than a pole with brush and a leaf net, if no trees maybe get by with a pool blaster. If you get leaves and types of dirt and willing to spend in the $300 range or up , skip the labor intensive vacuum hose route and go with a robot cleaner.
