Best pool brush

I have an AG vinyl lined pool, and my brush snapped (where it clips into the pole) the bristles were also falling out when I used it. It was only one year old, should I expect all to be disposable like this?

Thanks, Are brushes throw away items, not meant to last long? Do bristles usually start falling out after a year?

Not mine. I keep it inside. If you leave it in the sun and elements, it will degrade much faster.
