I have a relatively small pool and spa (about 7000 gallon pool and less than 1000 gallon spa).
My current schedule is:
9am-5pm 20GPM all taken from pool skimmer and split 50/50 return to pool/spa
5pm-6pm 3200 RPM all taken from pool skimmer and split 50/50 return to pool/spa (This is a ‘deep clean’ that used to largely benefit my suction side vac. I now have robot vac.)
I find that with this schedule, since there are 9 hours of aeration, my pH rises quickly and during the summer months my water evaporates very quickly.
Do you think I should just cycle the spa through the pool for like an hour each day and just run pool-only for the rest of the day? Or maybe run it every few hours through the spa?
I’ve got an Intelicenter, variable flow pump, and smart valves on the intake and return. So I should be able to make it do whatever I want.
