We just replaced our main single speed pool pump with a variable speed pump due to a leak we could not fix between the motor housing and the main pump. The pump is a 2004 Jandy Stealth 2 HP. The motor was replaced in 2021 when you could still get single speed motors. What's the best place to put this type of things up for sale? I assume someone would want this relatively new pump motor for a fraction of the cost of a new pump.

Just the motor? I think it has very little value. I would guess craigslist or nextdoor. You could try here in the coffee bar but it's isn't likely anyone knowledge in pools will want it.
I have the whole pump but the front is leaking (tried fixing it multipel times). Figured someone whos single speed motor crapped out might want a relatively new (2 yo) mtor vs shelling out a couple grand for a new VS pump (like I just had to do)
Im sure I coudl get them disposed of, but this is a relatively new motor in great condition. Figure someone who doesn't want to spend a lot on a new VS pump mght be willing to buy it.I put mine on the curb and somebody took them
Craiglist - I see various models on there for a couple hundred bucks - no idea if they actually sell tho.
