Been SLAM-ing for Days Overnight good still Cloudy water

Hello,

I have been doing the SLAM for a couple weeks now. My pool had perfect levels until 5th of July when all of a sudden my pool turned to Crud. I thought I had yellow algae so started SLAM. I got to a point where the overnight loss test was good for FC but still had 1 for chloramines. So I continued. We had rain, heat you name it so I was fighting the chlorine levels trying to maintain at 16. My CYA has been at 40 all summer. My water is definitely more blue not the dirty color it was but still cloudy. I have vacuumed a few times and brushing several times daily. Pool is a large L-shape and 35,000 gallons.
Today FC is up to 19 and for kicks I decided to test PH which is low to 6.8. Could this be causing cloudiness? FC held overnight but water still cloudy. I have been using bleach from Menards. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I would like to have a crystal clear blue pool again like I had up until July 5th!!!!

As you are not inputting your chemistry data into Poolmath, it is difficult to provide guidance.

Have you deep cleaned your sand filter this year?
 
There is no chemistry data in your Poolmath log. I suspect you are not saving them. Be sure to touch the check mark in the upper right after entering the data.

OK -- that is the web page Poolmath. You have the Poolmath app. You can get the app from the Windows Store and you must have it on a phone or tablet all ready. That way your data is saved.

Sounds like you just need to stay on the SLAM Process. Consider deep cleaning the sand filter. You have a large pool. Lots of water to filter.

You can safely swim in a pool as long as the FC is above the minimum and at or below SLAM level based on your CYA. You must also be able to see the bottom of the pool in the deep end of the pool.
 
You reported a pH of 6.8. Realize that pH testing is not accurate when your FC is above 10 ppm. If you started the SLAM at a pH of 7.2, and you have not added acid or acidic products, your pH could not have decreased.
The Poolmath page you posted above showed a TA of 100. pH will not stay below 7 for very long with a TA of 100.
If the pH is low, swimmers may have eye irritation, itchy skin, etc.
