It’s been a while since I’ve posted. These cold Texas days keep the SWG off and so far have only had to add one gallon of chlorine. Just did a complete test as seen below. Now, I recall that due to having a fiberglass pool I don’t really need to worry about CH. Due to winter, do I really need to raise my CYA? I keep it around 75-80 during summer months but with less sunlight zapping my CYA and my CL levels staying mostly good I’m not sure if I just keep it like it is or what? Lastly, my TA is pretty low at 40 but my pH has stayed perfect at 7.5. Any help is appreciated!

Looks fine. Watch the TA. Must have been low before (only drops due to acid use or dilution with low TA water).

CYA is fine.

Thanks CK! I’ll watch the TA. Maybe up it if it hits 30? Haven’t added acid in a loooong time so must be either hose or rain water.

If still at TA of 40 when the weather warms, then add some baking soda. Though I suspect your fill water is higher in TA.
