Bead split in low hung vinyl liner - In ground pool

I'm hoping I can patch this.
Had a small section of liner come out in shallow end of pool. While trying to get it back in I've split the "rubber bead section" about 2" horizontal split. Not sure this is rubber... thicker than the vinyl liner.
Has anyone seen this before? Ever had to repair this?
Looking for advice.

When was the liner installed? This may be a warranty issue!
