CircuPool RJ-60 Plus
My circupool should be installed in 3 days -Thursday.

I'm getting levels ready and these are my numbers so far:
FC- 5.5
CC- 0
Ph- 7.8
TA- 60
CH- 30 (target is 50)
CYA-30 (target is 70 with CYA in sock now)
Salt- 3400
Water Temp- 85
CSI - -1.09 ( if targets above are reached, CSI would be -1.01)
Water is crystal clear.

My Circupool manual says LSI should be -0.2 - +0.2 or my cell will cause quick and excessive calcium scaling on he salt cell.
My numbers look corrosive if LSI and CSI are the same so do I increase my CH to get the CSI closer to 0 ?
Will any other numbers change, such as Ph, once the SWG is in operation that may affect the CSI ?
I never worried about CH or CSI with my chlorine pool so I ask your patience here.

Thank you!
Joan

You have a vinyl pool with low CH. You do not need to bother with tracking CSI. Turn it off in your app.

Since you have the CYA sock in the pool, dose FC as if the CYA already registered on the test.
Aim for high side of target range.

No need to. You have a vinyl pool. CH has no effect on metals. Only cement based products.

I understand there’s no worry for my vinyl liner. My worry is that Circupool says keep the saturation index between -0.2 to + 0.2 or the salt cell will be damaged. Other than increasing the CH, I don’t know how to get my CSI within their stated range.

I've gone 12 years between -1.0 and -2.0.

The manufacturers say alot of things. Pentair has it stamped right on my cell to acid wash it every 3 months. I have no calcium to scale it up, but that's evidentally not important.

That makes me feel more at ease. I’m just trying to take care of my investment and do it right.
I appreciate you and @mknauss helping me.

Just turn CSI tracking off. It isn't needed for the vinyl lined pool.
Then, as far as you know, your CSI will be in the range they specify. ;)
