Welp... I keep adding chlorine per Pool Math and despite what I shoot for, I always come up below what my target was.
I tested last night around 5:00 PM ET and FC was 6.5
I tested about 10 mins ago (1:20 PM ET) and FC had dropped to 4.5
I added enough to get me to a 7 and plan to test in about 30 mins (just after 2 PM ET)
I can do an OCLT - not a problem at all
We've had a TON of rain - but not enough to really dilute the pool - it's got a soft solar cover on
Granted I did just backwash and rinse for the first time in a couple weeks - no substantial change to PSI prior to, just thought it would be a good time to do it while I had some free time in my day.
Did I get a bad batch of Chlorine? I am using 12.5%. Yes, I realize that it sitting in the garage during this minor heat wave is less than ideal but this is the same brand and strength of chlorine I've used all summer.
Do we think I'm lurking in a potential swamp? Hence my OCLT comment...
Logs are on my profile if you want to take a gander! Thanks!
