Automation wiring for new pump

Good morning. I recently replaced my old Hayward Ecostar pump with a new TriStar. The installation was mostly seamless. I do have a question about wiring the automation, however. As the old one new are not the same. I included pictures of how the EcoStar was wired to the automation system, and the new pump's options. Because they are different, I'm not comfortable "guessing". Can someone please help me out? The pump is up and running perfectly, on it's own timer, but I need to get it synched with my automation system. Thank you all in advance!old1.jpgold2.jpgnew.jpg

Did a yellow/orange sheet come with the pump? It is a wiring diagram that may help.
There should also be an additional green block (not connected) in the new pump buss wiring area.

I did look in the wiring diagram. It wasn't super clear to me. Plus, it's calling for a yellow wire, which I don't have (my existing fourth wire is white). I do have the additional block, although I believe it's black like the original. I left the original one on there for the picture just for clarity with the current wiring to the onboard unit.

The current automation unit is an AquaLogic PS-4 with V 2.65 software.

What specific model pump?

I would think this works...

Wire colors don't matter. Your Ecostar used a 2 wire interface. With the TriStar they added using the COM line for better communications.

Use 3 wires and connect as shown....

So I need to trace them back to the automation unit to see where they originate? If you look at the original picture, the EcoStar was using four wires on the automation side, but they were bunlded down to two on the pump side, which was also confusing to me.

I do not understand what picture goes to what that you put on post 1.

A yellow wire does not become a white wire. So what is at the other end of the green/white and black/red two pair cable?
