I am currently in a new pool build 16’ X 30’ @ 5’ Deep. I am looking to automate my system and would like a recommendation on an automation system to work with a Hayward VS pool pump, Pentair clean & clear filter, pentair low voltage lights and a heat exchanger system. I do not have any water features that I need automation for. Is there a simple automation system that will will work with hayward, pentair and heat exchanger?
Next time I will buy all the same product family.
Thank you!

Welcome to TFP.

With a Hayward VS pump you need an OmniPL or OmniHub system. You can see how well it controls your Pentair lights or put in a separate Pentair light switch.

What is the heat exchanger system?

Wood boiler system
Its more expensive, but you could look into "the Attendant" automation. The filter isn't involved with the control, the Pentair lights operate from a transformer that can be powered on and off, the pump will need Hayward automation or one like the above that will "talk" to any current manufacturer's pump. Can't help with the wood boiler as that isn't likely electronically controlled.
