Today I was out skimming the pool for the thousands of helicopters falling from the neighborhood trees and my own trees. At the same time, I can see the cotton woods are starting to shed which means three weeks of daily skimming and skimmer basket cleaning as soon as I get home from work. My wife mentioned to me that she saw an advertisement from Solar Breeze for a solar powered skimming robot. I went to solar-breeze.com and checked it out. There are other brands, but the concept is basically the same. Does anyone on site use this type of skimmer and if so, what are your thoughts about them? Seems like a great idea to me but I would like to get a little encouragement before I spend the money. Thanks for any input!
